Why mental strength is important now

Sometimes, I feel strong and yet so weak. I wake up feeling absolutely great, but all the current headlines give me fear, insecurities and negativity. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I felt safe and mentally strong. Also, I feel the urge to let people know the importance of mental strength now.

Life is challenging

Calm down. Relax. breathe. Most importantly, BELIEVE. Believe that everything will be alright. After all, life cannot be the same as it is so unpredictable. You need to get a grip of your life at a time that tests your mental toughness. Being mentally strong means getting through the hardships without falling apart. Even if you have a breakdown, take time to heal and move forward with a better focus on life.

Reality could be unacceptable

The world, justice and people are not always fair. It is not easy to accept the reality that could negatively impact you. But please do not let it drain you of your energy. All you can do now is to be confident and voice out against injustice without spreading negativity or hatred.

Be hopeful and fearless

Yes, it is confusing and unknown at times. But please hold onto your hope and keep moving forward no matter what. It may be a bad day, divorce, breakup, stress, anxiety or anything that could possibly affect your mental health. Do not let the fear take over your mind. It is even worse than the actual problem itself.

It is never too late to pick yourself up and realise life is one and very short. There is going to be a lot of self-doubts, insecurities and problems along the path. Stay awake to sail through them. It only takes a bit of your courage and mental strength. I bet you can do it!
