Black or white – Swagachi
There are about 195 countries with over 7.8 billion people in the world. And not all of them are either black or white! In the first place, this mighty world equally belongs to every person of any race. Needless to say, other living beings like animals, birds are also part and parcel of the world.
Why are we so judgemental?
Who gave us the authority or even power to look down on anyone? Who are we to judge anyone who wants to be himself/herself?
The answers to the above questions are still unidentified. As humans, we sometimes forget how our hurtful words and actions could negatively impact someone. Furthermore, it could also be a reason why bad days, sleepless nights, insecurities and even suicidal thoughts exist! All these predefined beauty standards or even generic standards of people are man made and presumed theories of self-proclaimed professionals!
Next time we look ourselves in the mirror, let us ask a question. Why are we so judgemental? Is it because of our problematic past, secret desires or envies? If that is the truth we want to hide from the world, it is ok. It is never too late to bring a positive change in our lives.
We might have been unintentionally judgemental about our friends, family, relatives and strangers in the past. But let us chuck the past and focus our attention on the future. What matters the most is how we are now. Read my blog on how to get rid of the fear of judgement to brave the life problems.
What is the solution?
If we want to see the world change, we need to change ourselves first. It could sound very cliched guys! But we reap what we sow. We need to stand up for people who face any kind of discrimination.
Black or white, rich or poor, citizens or immigrants, CEOs or migrant workers. No-one is less or more. Every single human is deserving of life and love. Let us live a life that inspires people to do and be better.
