It totally depends on the way you carry yourself in it. Following are some of the quick tips on how to dress up a pattu saree.

Wear it with a contrast coloured blouse

Go minimal with your jewellery

Traditional silk sarees are by itself super chic and “grand” so wearing minimal accessories will do the magic. A simple choker or “haram” necklace, a pair of traditional earrings, and a set of metal bangles coloured in gold or matching to your blouse should do the job! And voila! you’re ready to steal away the show.

Do not forget to experiment with pallu

A single pleat or a pleated one, both look great on every woman! If you really want to flaunt your curves, then you can always go ahead with a pleated pallu. If you want that elegant and dreamy look, then single pleat pallu is the right choice. But never stick with one style coz life is just too short!

You can always try different styles with hair and flowers

It totally depends on your comfort zone, mood and taste! The rule is to never be shy to experiment with hairstyles. Let it be loose hair, a bun, a French braid, a pony tail (you name it!), everything looks great for a traditional silk saree and that’s the beauty of it! And also, flowers add an extra traditional touch to the overall look. Jasmine flowers for loose hair and a lotus flower for a side or low bun will be a classic for sure!
